C+T Awards 2008 - Winners Announced!

A gala presentation at the Shore Club in the Sydney seaside suburb of Manly saw the announcement of the 2008 C+T Awards for Innovation. Sponsored by Content+Technology magazine, the awards are designed to recognise innovation in productions, projects and products in the media industries throughout Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.

According to Content+Technology Publisher Phil Sandberg, "This year's Awards saw a record number of entries - some 36 in all - from as far afield as Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, the Philippines and India. It is a testament to the ingenuity of our entrants and that of the Asia-Pacific region.

"We intend to capitalise on the success of this year's awards with the hosting of a seminar series designed to introduce our entrants and other interested parties to companies with experience in technology investment, in the hope that they can help our aspiring innovators take their ideas to the next level."

The C+T Awards for Innovation will be back in 2009 to coincide with the SMPTE Australia Conference & Exhibition, July 21-24, 2009, Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, Australia.
